God needed Scott to hit home runs The team is warming up. The sky darkens, a storm is on its way.' Scott steps up to bat. "Strike one," screams the umpire. Lightening strikes below! Scott bends to knock the dirt from his shoes. Afaint sound of thunder is heard from far away. Scott steps up to readjust and swings once, twice and prepares to hit again. The wind rustles the trees. It won't be long, rain is on the way. The second pitch and Scott lets itgoonby..."Balll"calls the umpire. The rain starts to slowly fall The next pitch is hit backwards. "Foul ball!" the umpire yells and the kids scurry to fetch it. Lightening! "One thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three..." if s getting closer. Scott plants his feet deeper. The ball is pitched and with a swing only Scott can give... Thunder sounds again, but this time I hear it in my heart. I know... Scott has hit another home run for all of us below.
