Fowers of Orem are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Joyce and Robert Chivers of Roosevelt, Utah. The wedding date set by the young couple is May 2. The young couple will make their home in Oakland, Calif., after their marriage. r Visits Grandparents Here in PL Grove Lyman D. Tidwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman D. Tidwell of Old Town, Maine, visited with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Tidwell last wekend. ' Lyma is in the armed forces . and has just returned from Viet Nam, where he was stationed in Saigon. On his arrival in San Francisco, Fran-cisco, he visited with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Weston, in Cyprus, California, . before coming to Utah. His grandparents and an aunt Anne Pierucci, met his plane in . Salt Lake City and brought him to Pleasant Grove. They took him to the airport at the conclusion of his visit and he boarded the plane for Oracle, Arizona, where he will visit other family members. He will be stationed at Fort Hood, Texas for the remainder of his service time. Returns Home Mrs. Viola Marshall has returned re-turned home after spending a month in Southern Utah visiting visit-ing with her sister, her mother and her daughter. While she was away, her young grandson, Bradley Mar shall, son of John Marshall, suffered second and third degree de-gree burns on his hight leg, when his pajamas caught fire, while he stood too near a wall furnace. He has been in bed at 'home since the accident. He will go to the hospital the first of April for skin grafting, ing. Hansen Seeks Office as State Legislator Russell II. Hansen, Republican Republi-can Incumbent, announced on Monday, that he win seek reelection re-election to the State. House of Representatives District Two. As a member of the Legislature Legis-lature he has served as vice-chairman vice-chairman of the Public Health and Welfare Committee and was also a member of the Public Pub-lic Safety, Education and Military Mil-itary Affairs Committees. Mr. Hansen has served as county delegate and as a dela-gate dela-gate to the State Republican Convention. He has been active in many community affairs,- Including In-cluding the Orem City Co-ordinating Council, PTA, Church, Scera Recreation and Scouting. He is a life-long resident of Utah County, his father, Emil Hansen, having served as mayor may-or of Orem. . At the present time Mr. Hansen Han-sen is serving as principal of Spencer Elementary School in Orem. He Is active in several professional and educational organization or-ganization on local, state and national levels. - Mr. Hansen and his wife, Ra-mona Ra-mona with their six children, reside in Orem, .where he is presently serving as Bishop of his ward. Back from California. Ardena Beck, Sadie Beck and Mrs. Merrill Beck have just returned re-turned home from California, where they visited with their son and brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Beck and three children, who live in Coalville, , Calif. It is the first time these members of the family have been together in ten years. The group visited Lake Tahoe, Carson Car-son City and other places of interest.
