Time schedule set Is 8 to 12 for a consultation period, 12 to 1 for luncheon and 1 to 3 for consultation period. Leah D. Widtsoe to Speak at Natural Foods Assn. Meeting Mrs. Leah D. Widtsoe will be the speaker at the Natural Foods Association meeting set for Nov. 8, 1963. The meeting will be held at the Prove High School Cafeteria at 7 p.m. The public is invited. If real concern is felt in these , areas, it may be best to call ' and make an appointment with the teacher on some other day when more time can be allowed for the consultation. Primary elections for next year's officers were conducted. Elk Hunters Get One More Chance With Two Hunts According to the Nov. 4 News Letter from the Utah State De- partment of Fish and Game, elk hunters holding 1963 permits, per-mits, are entitled to a final fling before winter moves in for sure. The details are as follows: fol-lows: Two late season elk hunts, involving 375 hunters, are set to get underway this Saturday, Satur-day, Nov. 9, according to the department. The two hunts, set by the Board of Big Game Control Con-trol to run through Monday, Nov. 18, are for the Fish Lake and Heaston Units. Permit holders were selected for these and all other elk hunt ing units during the annual public pub-lic drawing conducted last Aug. 27 at the State Capitol. - Game managers today advised advis-ed permit holders to go fully prepared to meet wintry con-' ditions. Birthday Party Kerry Dawn Listen celebrated celebrat-ed her seventh birthday Saturday, Sat-urday, Nov. 2. A group of her schoolmates met at 2:30 at her home and the afternoon was spent in playing games and opening op-ening gifts. Kerry is the daugh-ter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Listen. DAIRY ASSOCIATION OF UTAH Vacation Trip to California Taken By Local Couple Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rich-ins Rich-ins returned home last week after spending a two-week vacation va-cation in California. They left here and drove to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they visited for two days with Mrs. Richins' sister, Reba Worthen and family. fam-ily. They then drove to Azusa, Calif, where they attended the marriage ceremony and reception recep-tion of their granddaughter, LeAnna Richins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Richins, and Herbert McCormick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff McCormick, of Monrovia, Calif. The new husband is a convert to the church, and their marriage and reception was held in the LDS Church in Azusa. The young couple will estabhsh a home there. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Richins Rich-ins of Bountiful, flew to California Cali-fornia to attend the wedding and meet their parents there. After visiting there for a few days, the two couples drove to Sherman Oaks, where they visited with another sister of Mrs. Richins, Mrs. Verona Hess and her family. Then they drove to San Francisco, Fran-cisco, where they visited points of interest in China Town, the boat trip around Alcatraz Island Isl-and and finished their tour by celebrating Mrs. Richins birthday birth-day by enjoying a birthday dinner din-ner .and evening on the town. They drove home visiting other oth-er places of interest along the way. PI. Grove Riding Club Celebrates For Halloween Ray Viklund received a ball point pen for the best costume at the annual P.G. Riding Club Halloween party held last Saturday Sat-urday night at tthe Lindon Community Com-munity Club House. Throughout the year we will have two more yell contests. A trophy will be given to the class who wins the most yell contests. -V-V-Friday afternoon the Vikings met the A.F. Cavemen on our football field. At the end of the game the score was 44-0. Pleasant Grove took third place in Region Seven.
