Governor of District 28-A and NPlll Jensen of Du-cheme, Du-cheme, deputy district governor at dinner meeting thl week in the community building. Governor Mortensen reported on tha International convention at Atlantic City and told what thrill It was to alt In that groat auditorium with thousands of Lions reprwwntlng 113 different geographical location. They were told what the Lions do for world peace. He said they were looking forward to tha convention In France. The Lindon Lion were reminded remind-ed to plan to attend the midwinter midwin-ter banquet to be held In Salt Lake City In January and to attend at-tend the state convention in Vernal Ver-nal the early part of June. Mr. Jenson said that a Lion was ths helper of men. He admonished admon-ished those who were prone to criticize others to follow the advice ad-vice of the Indian chief, "First walk for two moon in the other man's footsteps. Both speakers complimented Lindon Lions on providing the city with a park and community commun-ity building. Although the club is small they have accomplished a great daal and Mr. Jenson said the Lindon Lions "think big." A Halloween theme was carried car-ried out In decorations as the members and their guests enjoyed a dinner. Performing hostess duties and preparing the dinner were Mrs. W. E.
