' ' BIG FREE APPLE ..SHOW, COMING A very Interesting apple exhibit is to be held in the High School Gym October 17, starting at noon and continuing until 10 p. m. The two major exhibits of the show will be the exhibit of , the American Flag, commemorating the Washington Blcentenial celebration, and the State of Utah, made of apples ap-ples showing Pleasant Grove located locat-ed in the center of the state.- The approximate number of apples to be used in this exhibit is 10,000. "There will be talks on spraying, cutting, trimming and insect pests, given by men from the U. S. A. C. and the county agents. The apples have been gathered free of charge from the surrounding orchards and the local Agricultural club is ar ranging the exhibit. Prof. Coe of the IT. 8. A. C. will assist in the judging. The ag. classes of the high school will have separate exhibits, PriSM will be riven for the best exhibits. A prize will also be given to the person guessing the number of apples In the exhibit."
