The transfer involved in coin and stock $1 12,500.00 and was paid by a party of business men for a specific for Hriht'8 Disease, and Diabetes, hitherto incurable diseases. They commenced the serious in-Ti-stiitation of the specific Nov. 15, 1900. They interviewed scores of the cured and tried it oui on its merits by laitUng over three dozen casts on the treatment and watching them. They also got physicians to name chronic, incurable cases, and administered ad-ministered it with the physicians for Judges. Wood retired re-tired fur the night without barring the side-door, and he awoke with a start at about 3 o'clock and found a couple of men in the room. He spoke to them, when they made a rather lame excuse and left. Gid then got his gun and barred the door. The iutruders were probably members of the same gang which raided Barney's store. C. E. Dallin, Springville's famous sculptor, has been doing some rapid work lately. In Boston recently a competition of leading sculptors was called for, each to submit a clay model for a statue of General Banks, which is to adorn the State House at the Massachusetts capital. The prize at stake is a 120,000 order. Mr. Dallin had barely a week to prepare his model, but succeeded in doing so. Newspaper cuts of the four models submitted would indicate that Mr. Dallin stood a good show of getting the contract. A. J. Snell wanted to attend a party, but was afraid to do so on account of pains in his stomach, which he feared would grow worse.
