Last Friday was the date of the regular meeting of the Woman's Club of Springvllle. Eleven members were present and at that session events transpired which were not down on the regular program, resulting, result-ing, before night, in the existance of two clubs instead of one. Wh'-n the unfinished business was called for, which consisted of balloting to receive re-ceive or reject new members, a discussion dis-cussion arose that waxed interesting, and when the smoke cleared away, it was found that the president, Mrs. D. C. Johnson, had resigned her office and membership in the club, and that her example was followed by other members present. Those who remiined in the meeting were Mrs. 11. M. Dougall, Mrs. llattie Dougall, Miss Kittie Dougall and Miss Julia Alleman. Those who resigned repaired to the home of Mrs. Meneray and organized a new club, bearing the name of "The Womans' Educational Club," with the following officers: Mrs. I). C. Johnson, president: Mrs. Frank West, vice president: Miss Annie Hardmau, secretary; Mrs. Frank Baxter, treasurer.
