Here are some kindergarten pumpkin facts: Did you know that pumpkin seeds are very small but a whole huge pumpkin grows from a tiny seed? Is a pumpkin a vegetable? No, it is a fruit The last pumpkin fact is size alone is not the most important thing, small seeds can become powerful.. Ethics, too, are nothing but reverence for life. Federal Consumer Protection has confirmed the fuel saving described in this advertisement. Device may increase gas mileage by 22 Boston - National Fuelsaver Corp. has developed a low cost automotive accessory called the Platinum Gas Saver which is guaranteed to increase gas mileage by 22 while meeting all emission standards. With a simple connection to a vacuum line, the Gas Saver adds platinum vapor economically to the air and fuel entering the engine. Since platinum enables non-burning fuel to burn, the Gas Saver's platinum increases the percentage of fuel burning inside the engine from 68 of each gallon to 90 of each gallon, a 22 increase. But when the air and fuel carry the platinum into the engine, 22 more of each gallon burns inside the engine so that 22 fewer gallons are required to drive the same distance. The 2009 calendar from the Utah Geological Survey Sur-vey (UGS) is now available. avail-able. The "Calendar of Utah Geology 2009" features fea-tures 45 pictures of geologic geo-logic vistas from around Utah. This year, there were more than 800 photos, submitted by employees, from which to choose. That number has grown from 240 photos in 2006 and 548 in 2007. "The calendar cal-endar project has become a highlight for our staff members," said UGS Director Di-rector Rick Allis. "Our geologists, paleontologists, paleontolo-gists, and other scientists work in some of the most beautiful places in Utah. We hope the calendar will provide a glimpse of the beauty of these places tor those who cannot get there, and inspire others to visit." The calendar is a little bigger this year and each month highlights interesting interest-ing geologic themes such as ancient volcanoes, bizarre bi-zarre rockscapes, dinosaurs, dino-saurs, geobotany, arches Town Hall discussion on presidential candidates Representatives from both the Obama and McCain Mc-Cain campaigns will be speaking at a Town Hall Discussion held at Reagan Academy on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Suzanne Su-zanne Gelderman, the Utah State Director of "Utah for Obama" and Tim Bridge-water, Bridge-water, Western States Representative Rep-resentative for the John McCain campaign will be the featured speakers. Audience Au-dience questions will be presented by students. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets tick-ets need to be reserved in advance by calling the Gas Saver than the '22 claimed by the developer." In addition, the Gas Saver has received patents for cleaning out carbon and raising octane, making premium fuels unnecessary for most vehicles. Joe Robinson, the developer, commented: "Since the government concluded its study, we have sold a half million Gas Savers. To our surprise, more people buy the Gas Saver because it extends engine life by cleaning out the carbon than buy it to increase gas mileage or to raise octane." "There are other great calendars produced with outstanding pictures of the state," said Allis. "While those calendars are more focused on tourism, tour-ism, our calendar is intriguing in-triguing geologically and educationally."
