We will keep humming the songs we heard at Battle Bat-tle of the Bands, and we'll keep our radio on hoping to hear them again one day. We will never forget hearing that one of our own was struck in a hit and run accident, and we will never forget seeing that student come back. When the school opened its doors over nine months ago, the students and the community began filling the halls with memories. Now, as MJHS prepares to close its doors on the 2006-2007 school year, Mr. Wyatt this year's winner of the MJHS Crystal Apple Award, is surrounded and supported by his students. Utah Lake Festival organizers are seeking organizations and companies that are interested in having a booth at the third annual festival The free event, which offers attendees a chance to get outside and enjoy the lake, learn about its many recreational opportunities oppor-tunities and offerings, and educate attendees about the lake's ecosystem ecosys-tem and native species and the importance im-portance of stewardship, is being held on Saturday, June 9, from 10 am to 3 p.m at Utah Lake State Park. Event organizers are looking for entities who would like to have a booth at the festival that would be compatible with the festival's theme and mission, such as vendors ven-dors providing information on topics top-ics regarding recreation, environmental environ-mental responsibility, water safety and health, wildlife and habitat. There is no charge to those wishing to have a booth at the event and organizers will provide tenting and a table.
