Schools across the state that placed at Region were qualified to advance onto the state competition. Although the talented Springville D'Velles had a wonderful year and gave each team a run for their money, at State they were surpassed by other teams. The SHS D'Velles have had many competitions throughout the year and have shown their Red Devil pride at SHS sporting events. The drill team is a great and wonderful inspiration inspi-ration to all members of our school community. The drill team helps pump up the crowd ana snows true Red Devil pride through their positive attitude atti-tude and spirit throughout the year. "The drill team is an inspiration inspi-ration to me and helps me to become a better person. Our drill team is wonderful and has had a great year coming together as a team and as friends. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to work with each of these girls and they are a great inspiration in-spiration to me," says SHS Drill President Jill Shepherd. The Red Devils went up against some of the toughest teams in the region-Timpview, Orem, Provo and Lehi. Both men's and women's teams finished in second place with many best times achieved.
