Madson ; Rand Ray Madson passed away ; peacefully on February 13, 2003 of natural causes. He was born : November 29, 1950 in Idaho Falls, ; Idaho to Elizabeth Ellsworth and Grant Arlo Madson. Rand graduated from Bonneville Bonne-ville High School and went on to serve a full-time LDS mission in Florida. He then graduated from Brigham Young University and went on to work for th Utah Juvenile Court for the past 24 years. Rand married his sweetheart, Nancy Nielson, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple June 2, 1976 for time and all eternity. He was a loving father to his four wonderful children: chil-dren: Bart, Scott, Emily and Katie. They will cherish the time he was with them and will never forget his gentle spirit. To know Rand was to love and admire him. He touched many lives through his strong faith in his church, through the families he worked with and through his love of scouting. Rand was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different ways. He loved his Heavenly Father and took every opportunity to serve the Lord. Rand was a councilor in two bishoprics bish-oprics and a former bishop of the Spring Creek Ninth Ward. He served on the high council in the Spring Creek South Stake and was currently serving as ward high priest group leader. Rand is survived by his wife, Nancy (Nielson); four children: Bart, Scott, Emily and Katie. He I VV,??;' 1 Nathan Graves, son of Richard and LaRayne Graves of Mapleton, recently recent-ly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He will be presented the award in an Eagle Court-of-Honor on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003 at 5 p.m. in the church at 1600 N. Main Street in Mapleton. Nathan is in Troop 966 and fingerprinted finger-printed children for personal person-al records for his Eagle project. Madson is also survived by his parents: Grant and Elizabeth (Beth) Madson; Mad-son; sister, Lizabeth (Dave) Radford Rad-ford of Idaho, as well as many nieces and nephews. Heaven will be a tittle brighter because our angel has returned to his Father in Heaven. We will miss you Rand, but know that you'll be in our hearts and memories memo-ries forever. Funeral services were held Feb. 17. Interment was in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Spencer Bradford will receive his Eagle Scout Award on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003 at 5 p.m. at the Heritage Heri-tage Church in Mapleton, 1600 N. Main. Spencer is the son of Dee and Susan Bradford. For his Eagle project he constructed fencing and guardrail along the trail to the "Y" on "Y" Mountain.
