Show SOCIAL EVENTS Janika Thorson, Sam Prestwich temple wedding Larry and Pam Thorson of Springville, Utah, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Janika, to Samuel Levi Prestwich, son of Norma Lou Prestwich and Jess Prestwich of Moroni. The couple plans to be married on Friday, March 22,' 2002, in the Manti LDS Temple. They will be honored at a reception that evening at the 900 South LDS Church, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend, Janika graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary in 2000 and will graduate from Snow College in May. Sam graduated from North Sanpete in High School and LDS Seminary in 1997, and will also graduate from Snow College in May. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints in Manchester, England. The couple will live in Ephraim until May, then move to Ogden, to attend Weber State University. Alisha Reed, Benjamin Gale to trade vows Announcement is made by David and Gwen Reed of Mapleton, Utah, of the engagement of their daughter, Alisha Gwen Reed, to Benjamin Leigh Gale, son of Roy and Joan Gale of Idaho Falls, Idaho. The couple plans to be married on March 23, 2002. Friends and relatives are invited to share in their happiness that same evening at a reception at the Heritage Church, 1600 N. Main in Mapleton, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The couple plans to make their home in Provo, Utah. The bride-to-be graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary. A recent graduate gradu-ate of Dallas Roberts Academy, she is currently working in Springville. The. prospective groom graduated from the Skyline High School. He is currently attending Utah Valley State College. The couple plans to be married on Friday, March 22, 2002, in the Logan LDS Temple. A reception will honor the newlyweds that evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Mendon Stake Center, 460 S. 100 East, Mendon. Allison Rowe, Larry Bess to marry Friday Announcement is made by Connie Rowe of Boise, Idaho, of the engagement of her daughter, Allison of Orem, Utah, to Larry Brian Bess, son of Jerry and Donna Bess of Mapleton. Allison is also the daughter of the late Paul B. Rowe. The couple plans to be married on Friday, March 22, 2002, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mapleton White Church. An open house will be held in Boise March 30. The bride-to-be graduated from Centennial High School in Boise. She is currently employed as assistant manager of US Bank in Orem and will be transferring to a branch in Boise in early April. The prospective groom graduated from Springville High School where he was active in sports. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Central Mission.
