I 'i 7 AS Monroe and Mignon Gallier Ralph and Norma Barneck Fiftieth anniversary Couple to celebrate Monroe and Mignon Gallier will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary tonight, Wed., Nov. 21, 2001, at an open house to be held in the North Mapleton Stake Center, 475 N. 1600 West, Mapleton, Utah. It will be hosted by their children and grandchildren grandchil-dren from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited and they request no gifts. .They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Nov. 21, 1951, and made their home in Provo. Monroe was born in Victor, Texas, the son of Noah and Ada Williamson Gallier. He served in the Navy for two years and then moved to Provo to attend Brigham Young University where he graduated with a Masters Degree in educational administration. He was a teacher and elementary school principal for 34 years in the Provo School District, retiring in 1989. He was always active in church and served an LDS mission to the Northwestern States. He has served in many church positions including Bishop on the BYU campus. Mignon was bora in Spring City, Utah, the daughter of Dwane and Grace Ahlstrom. She moved to Provo as a young girl. She graduated from Provo High School and attended BYU. She has also been active in the LDS Church and served in all the organizations. They are the parents of four children: Linda (Paul) Holley, Mapleton; Glenn R. (Dorene) Gallier, Mapleton; Sharon (Kelly) Brown, Pendleton, OR; Shauna (Jon) Butler, "Bountiful. They have ' 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The couple served an LDS mission in Houston, Texas and have been ordinance workers in the Provo Temple. Diversity in concert The children of Ralph and Norma Barneck are proud to an nounce the celebration of their parents' fiftieth wedding anniversary. , Friends and family are invited to attend an open house in their honor, hosted by their children, on Sat., Nov. 24, 2001, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Clearfield 6th Ward, 250 W. 300 North, Clearfield. They were married Nov. 9, 1951, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They resided in Ogden and Clearfield, where they raised their family. Ralph was born in Salt Lake and raised in Utah and Texas, graduating from Mineral Wells H.S. in Texas. He served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. He retired from the Defense Depot in Ogden in 1981, with 37 years of service. Norma (Thorpe) was born in Palmyra and raised in Springville, graduating from Springville High School. She has owned and operated Barneck Preschool in Clearfield since 1958. Both are active in the LDS Church, holding a wide variety of ward, stake and temple callings. Their children are Afton and Wallace Melcher of Helena, MT; Jolene and John Goff of Clearfield; David and Debi Barneck of Ogden; Launa and Ken Highbee of College Station, TX; and Douglas and Kristine Barneck of West Point. George and Lucille Hampton Fifty. years together On Nov. 24, 2001, George and Lucille Hampton of Springville, Utah, will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They were married on Nov. 24, 1951 in the Chicago Methodist Church and later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their children and grandchildren will honor them at an open house on Sat., Nov. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Springville Stake Center on Kolob Circle. Friends and family are invited to attend. No gifts please. George was born in Falls City, Nebraska. He was raised in Chicago where he met Lucille. He retired from Brigham Young University where he was manager of the BYU Photo Studio. Lucille was born in North Carolina. She was raised in the Methodist Orphanage in Raleigh, NC. After 20 years she retired from working in the school lunch program where her nickname was "Chopper." They both have been very active in the LDS Church since joining in 1963 in Chicago. They have been active in the Scouting program, George as Explorer Advisor and Lucille in the 11 -year-old program for 35 years. They are the parents of three children: George III (Lydia). Aurora, CO; Cynthia (John), Smithfield; and Diane, Priest River, ID. They have 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Crib Corner Utah Valley Regional Medical Center November 6, 2001 Boy born to Juliann and Todd Bainter of Mapleton. 4 a Professionally seasoned vocalists, vocal-ists, Margo Watson, Kim Novas and Sheree Fitzgerald are reuniting reunit-ing their voices for an evening of musical entertainment as "Synch-ronicity: "Synch-ronicity: Diversity in Concert," on Wed., Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Villa Playhouse Theatre, 254 S.'Main, Springville. Watson, Novas and Fitzgerald first met and performed together -as members of the BYU Young Ambassadors in the late 1970s. Since then these three women have followed diverse musical roads. . Watson has mastered classical music venues, while Novas became a country music artist. Fitzgerald created her own EnglishSpanish bilingual Inspirational Inspira-tional music style. All of them have accumulated multiple recording, re-cording, radio, television and motion picture credits. Entertainer, Scott Harward will serve as the concert's Master of Ceremonies with piano accompaniment accom-paniment by John Rona. The event is produced by Buddy Youngreen, with musical director Howard R. Johnson, sound engineer engi-neer Dave McDougal and technical techni-cal manager Dave Harris.
