OBITUARIES Monte C. Golding Monte Carroll Golding Gold-ing died May 24, 1997 in Granby, Colorado. He was born August 21. 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Catherine Francis Fran-cis Lamb and George Elwin Golding. Monte grew up fishing, surfing and participating in sports in Redondo Beach, CA. He served an LDS mission to Argentina. Monte majored in accounting at Brigham Young University Univer-sity and later received his MBA Degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. While at BYU he joined the ROTC and later became a Captain in the Army Reserves. He married Lynda Allen on July 9, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. After living in Wyoming, Wyo-ming, Georgia and six years in Downey, CA, they made their home in Springville in 1980. Monte was successful in establishing a family business of rental income property and sales of manufactured housing. Monte's greatest loves were his family, fishing, sports and bowling. bowl-ing. She was born August 10, 1908 in Hopewell. KS to Clarence Clar-ence and Belle Dear-dorff. Dear-dorff. She married Walker Wal-ker D. Fink August 30, 1927. She was a graduate of Central College, McPherson, KA and the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, IL. Alice was an accomplished accom-plished pianist and organist. or-ganist. She taught private music lessons and taught public school music. She also served as church organist in communities in which she lived. In her early years, she was a Westmorland Sterling representative and a reporter for the Whea-ton Whea-ton Journal in Wheaton. IL. She is survived by five children: Newton, Table Grove, IL; Nancy, Kuala Lumpur.
