But in our hurry-hurry society, who has time to eat regularly? Here are some tips to help you do so, from a recent USA Today special report: 1) Try to always eat breakfast It fuels you for the day and revs up your metabolism, helping you to burn calories. 2) You don't have to cook elaborate meals. Just microwave a low-Fat frozen diner. 3) If you have to run errands at lunch, make sure you bring a sandwich, bagel or fruit withxyou, Skipping means often causes people to gorge later. 4) Steer clear of vending machines, which seldom have anything healthy inside. Instead, go for crackers, fat-free muffins or pretzels. 5) Don't go longer than five hours without eating. 6) Sit down and savor your food. Eating should be a conscious activity. 7) If you hate to cook, accept that fact and choose simple foods; Sandwiches, salads, cereal, fruits and vegetables-even for dinner. 8) Don't rely on coffee to suppress sup-press your hunger. Your appetite will catch up with you later. 9) Don't eat just one large meal at the end of the day. Those calories are more likely to turn to fat 10) Don't wait until the last minute to decide what to eat Have some kind of plan, even if it isn't rigid. r f - 'OP'4-' KIT REESE ALLAN HEART TRANSPLANT FOUNDATION y s CHRISTMAS CRAFTS, GIFTS, Donations can also be made at any CENTRAL BANK or mailed to: - 6820 - 531 4 - 71 08 - 6935 The Kit Reese AIan Heart Transplant Foundation Centra Bank P.O.
