Strengthening our children A newborn calf totters around unsteadily for the first few hours of its life, but gains strength and confidence as it takes nourishment nourish-ment from its mother's milk. Those first few days are important impor-tant in the calf's development, and one that is not properly fed when it is young has a poor chance of developing into a strong, healthy animal. So it is with our children. We need to feed them spiritually when they are young to ensure that they are spiritually strong as they grow older.
