Show t Page Four - The Springville Herald - October 23, 1985 Hiatuses II evening class The appearance of the Ramses II exhibit at BYU is the result of a long series of miraculous happenines and the statesmanship of Dr. C. Wilfred Griggs. BYU is the only university ever selected to host an exhibit of a stature equal to the King Tut or Alexander the Great exhibits which have recently toured the major cities of the United States and Canada. Dr. griggs secured for Provo the honor of being the first U.S. city to host the exhibit over the loud protests of high-powered delegations from other big cities. Because of the great interest and excitement which is sweeping across the BYU campus, our Provo-Orem community and the entire state of Utah, the Division of Religious Education at BYU will offer a one month evening call, Religion 392R - Section 402, Egypt and Ramses II. The class purpose is to satisfy the demands of interested members of the BYU student body and members of the surrounding community. It was really enjoyed by the participants par-ticipants and much was learned about ballooning by the parents involved. For example, they are now better informed about the amount of time it takes a helium balloon to refill with air and sink to the ground again sometimes not too long, not long enough. We would also like to thank the candidates and voters who came to support the Meet the Candidate Night held last week at Grant School. There was a good crowd and they enjoyed an excellent presentation. presen-tation. S.O.S., the traditional call for help from a ship in distress, does not actually stand for anything. Dr. Alan C Miner DMD Make Your Life Something To Smile About Sanford Building 330 E. 400 S. H Springville, UT in Your Future Old Ideas, New Ideas Sometimes we're offended when the younger generation doesn't listen to our ideas. The young have a delightfully irreverent way of kicking their way through the fallen leaves of this year's ideas. They cast aside tradition and convention with alarming ease. It's always been this way, and that's the way it should be. Otherwise, Other-wise, we would have little progress. If we teach our children well, giving them a sound foundation of the gospel, they will rush ahead through the new ideas, and will find that which is good, casting away the useless. When they find the truth, they will embrace it because they will already know it. ,...w...r arKINUVILLC NORTH STAKE THIRD WARD Bishop Hermann Peine 489-7773 YW, RS, PM, Primary 11:30 Sunday School 12:30 Sacrament Meeting 1:20 FOURTH WARD Bishop Steven L.
