Beardall of Springville, of the engagement of their daughter, Sueann, to Mr. Burnie Jay Peck, son of Ray E. and Connie Peck of Payson. The young couple plan to be married Friday, May 18, 1984, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. A wedding breakfast will be held after the ceremony in Salt Lake. A reception to honor the newlyweds will be held Saturday, May 19, in the Springville lst-12th-20th Cultural Hall. Bridal attendants will be Matron of Honor, Karen Cloward, sister of the bride, with Josette Harding. Kelli Whitton and Lori Whitton as bridesmaids. Mandy Cloward will be flowergirl. The best man will be Martin Peck. Honorary best man will be Kalen Ross Beardall. Mark Peck will serve as an attendant. The bride graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary with honors and was active in the German Ger-man Club. She attended Utah Technical College and BYU, where she is a Junior. She is employed in Orem with a computer software firm. The prospective groom graduated from Payson High School and LDS Seminary. He served a mission in the California, San Bernardino area and is presently employed in Provo. Showers have been given by Norma Barnes, Raylene Russell, Pennie Russell and Karen Cloward. The couple will make their home in Spanish Fork. Invitations have been sent, but the couple invite all friends and neighbors to attend the reception. Couple recites vows May 18 Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hall of Spanish Fork, wish to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Karen to Alan Bills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bills, of Mapleton. The couple will be married on May 18, 1984. A reception will honor them that evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Palmyra Stake Center, 505 East 900 North in Spanish Fork. Following their marriage the couple will reside in Spanish Fork. Camille Callister, Jeff Steiner Temple wedding Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Callister, of Springville, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Camille, to Mr. Jeff Steiner, son of Mrs. Jane Steiner, of Salem, and Mr. Glen E. Steiner, of Salt Lake City. The couple plan to be married May 25, 1984, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After the wedding ceremony, a wedding breakfast will be held at the White House in Jordan, Utah. A reception will honor the couple that night in the Springville 21st Ward Church, 350 North 400 East, from 7 to 9 p.m. The bride-to-be graduated from Springville High School and is currently employed at Wasatch Bank in Orem. The prospective groom graduated from Spanish Fork High School and completed an LDS mission in Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, New Mexico. He is currently attending Utah Technical College. He is employed at Provo Steel and Supply. Several showers are planned for Camille by friends and relatives. The newlyweds will make their home in Prnvo. Springville Alumni Luncheon set A Ladies Springville High School Alumni luncheon will be June 2 at 12 p.m. at the Springville Middle School, 485 S. 100 E. Women who were students during the years of Principals Ray Done, Ernest Knudsen and Wallace Brockbank are invited to attend. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. with socializing and a program to follow. Pari Passu Club entertains guests Thursday May 10, the Pari Passu Club met at the home of Maryn Johnson for a guest day meeting. President Lorene Savage welcomed all who were there and asked Anna Marie Palfreyman to read the collect. Helen Stirland gave a report of the meeting of the Nebo 1st District held recently in Delta, Utah. She also presented a certificate cer-tificate of appreciation to our President, Lorene Savage, in behalf of the District President, for her cooperation with the district the past two years. Assignments were made to make cookies for the National Convention in Las Vegas in June when Jeri Winger is to be installed as the National President. Louise Springer introduced the program by reading several poems. Members and guests were entertained en-tertained by Morgan and Kimberly Ethington who presented a very lovely musical program. Camp Kolob DUP meets Members of Camp Kolob DUP met at the home of Ethel Phillips last week. The meeting was conducted by Mrs. Phillips with Lula Shepherd leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Adele Nielson presented a lesson on preserving pioneer relics. She told about the American Fork Pioneer Museum. At that museum many drawbacks and delays were endured before a suitable place to display the relics was obtained. Help on the land and building came from many sources. Security, protection and good care of valuable and fragile relics was discussed. The old school bell from Oakland was put on display at that museum. After the meeting the camp members drove to the city park where a delicious no-hostess, pot-luck pot-luck lunch was enjoyed.
