Mr. Ekker will assume responsibility for all ordinance material and equipment in the Springville unit. He has 15 years of military experience, ex-perience, including service in Korea. Ekker's last 10 years of service have been with Ihe 116th Engineers where he has served as an inspector in Ihe Maintenance Platoon. J Harold Strong Tuttle Harold Strong Tuttle Harold Strong Tuttle, 52. of 1011 South Main, Springville, died Monday, July 19 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of complications following surgery. He was born March 21, 1930 at Springville, the son of Byron and Emily Strong Tuttle. He was married to Florence Elsie Giles July 13, 1951 at Provo, Utah. He received his education in the Springville school and was employed by the railroad but retired due to ill health. He enjoyed gardening, and hunting and fishing. Mr. Tuttle was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving: wife of Springville: three sons and two daughters: Brent Lynn Tuttle, John Byron Tuttle and Jay Harold Tuttle, all of Springville. Mrs. Gilbert (Catherine) Ruby of Payson Mrs. Jay (Carol) Barney of Maricopa, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; one sister and three brothers: Mrs. Neal (Thelma) Titcomb, Earl William Tuttle. Donald Byron Tuttle and Glen Elias Tuttle, all of Springville. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 23, at 2 p.m. in the second- 14th-2Jtb., LDS Ward chapel; 451 S. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary Thursday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. or Friday 1982 - The Springville Denes Jensen Delles Jensen, 73, of 396 South 150 West, Orem, died Monday, July 19, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo following an illness. He was born June 18, 1909 at Mapleton, the son of Nels Christian and Ovilla Whiting Jensen. He was married to Jennie Marsh May 27, 1930 in Provo, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Following his marriage he spent time in the Uintah Basin where he was engaged in farming and in the construction industry, as a heavy-duty ' equipment operator. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Orem City as a heavy-duty equipment operator. He served as scoutmaster scout-master and counselor in the bishopric of the Moffit Ward at Gusher, Utah. Along with his wife, he served an LDS Mission in West Virginia and Texas. He was an avid sportsman, sport-sman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Surviving: wife of Orem; one son and one daughter: D. Arlen Jensen of Cedar City, Utah, Mrs. Richard (Jeanne) Knight of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers: Mrs. Gladys Johnson, Bernell Jensen, and Verl Jensen, all of Mapleton, and Kelly Jensen of Springville. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Orem 71st LDS Ward chapel, 250 West 300 South. Friends may call Thursday evening at the Wheeler Mortuary in Springville from 7 until 9 p.m. or at the ward chapel on Friday one hour prior to the service.
