Congratulations, Mike. By Sherri Folly On Thursday September Sep-tember 24, Springville girls won their first vollyball game against Payson. The J.V. played a real tight game losing 16-14 and Payson came back and won the second. The varsity team beat Payson in two games with Tonua Hamiliton's outstanding out-standing serving and Leeann Matthews outstanding out-standing hitting. They won both games by 4 and 6 points. On tuesday September ,29 Springville met Spanish Fork, and also on Thursday October 1 the girls will be traveling to Cedar City for a tournament tour-nament with the region VIII teams. Their first game will be against Spanish Fork, at 1 and all games will be taking place at SUSC. Hole in one Dorothy Pederson made a hole in one on no. 14 using a no. 6 Iron from 100 yards.
