Snow of Springville of the engagement of their daughter Linda Ann Snow of Salt Lake City to Mr. Andrew A. Odoardi of Salt Lake City, son of Mrs. Bernice Odoardi and the late Antonio Odoardi of Cincinnati, Ohio. The couple plans to be married Thursday, August 17, at the Heidelberg in Farmington. A reception will be held immediately following the garden ceremony. The couple plans to make their home in Salt Lake. The bride-to-be is a 1973 graduate of Springville High, where she was active in Pep Club, Spirit Club, Steno Club and A.P. English. She graduated from BYU in 1977 with a B.A. in English and History. Currently she teaches Sophomore and Senior English at Bountiful High School. The prospective groom is presently a teacher at Bountiful High School, where he teaches A.P. History and Alternative Education. He received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and his Masters degree in history from Loyola University n Los Angeles in 1967. While in Cincinnati, he served as Hamilton County President of Young Democrats, as class president for two years, and business manager for the student directory. Harrison celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary an-niversary August 16. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison were married Aug. 16, 1916 in the Provo Court House and were later married in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. Boyer celebrated his 77th birthday bir-thday August 5 at Aspen Grove in Provo Canyon. Twenty-one members of his family attended to help make it a special occasion. Five grandchildren and Lora Lea Brian his son Larsen climbed to the summit of Mt. Tim-panogos Tim-panogos and two made it to Emerald Lake. Hjorth, Meister to wed August 19 Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hjorth are pleased to announce an-nounce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Eileen to Mr. Neill Meister, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Meister of Salt Lake City. The couple will be married August 19 at the home of the bride's parents. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Springville High School and a four-year seminary graduate. She has worked for the government in Washington D.C., San Francisco, and is presently employed at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden. Parents of the bride will host a reception for the couple at their home 1365 W. 800 N. in Mapleton that same evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The new couple will make their home in Ogden where both are employed. Lora Lea Brian, Kim Mock to wed Mr. and Mrs. E. Dean Brian, Springville, announce an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lora Lea to Mr. Kim Mock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mock also of Springville. The couple have chosen Thursday, August 31, as their wedding day. A reception and dance will honor them that evening at the Hobble Creek Inn from 8 to 12 p.m. Attending Miss Brian as matron of honor will be Mrs. Beverly Mock. Maid of Honor will be Camiel Brian. Bridesmaids will be Cindy Poole, Laura Snow, and Liz Ann Parry. Flower girls will be Wendy and Techia Mock. Randy Mock will be best man. Assisting as ushers will be Rick Brereton, Jerry Brian and Maylan Brian. A pre-nuptial shower will be given by Mrs. Beverly Mock, and Mrs. Laura Snow. Stories were told of past experiences of climbing "Timp" and Grandpa Boyer had many to relate from 77 years of his past life and having climbed the mountain four times and climbing to Emerald Lake five times.
