Service consisting of only "active duty for training" in the Reserve or National Guard component does not qualify individuals for Home Loan Guaranty, Mr. Smith explained The Veterans Administration Home Loan Guaranty program helps to finance the purchase of a reasonably priced home at a favorable rate of interest and with little or no down payment. It encourages private lending institutions to make bigger loans than they otherwise would with the VA guarantying part of the loan. The Veterans Administration Ad-ministration will guarantee loans to alter, improve, refinance, or repair a home. mentally healthy. He finds that these people are fully awake, that their perceptions are marked by: total concentration and immersion in the present; lack of self-consciousness; self-consciousness; a sense of timelessness; innocense of vision like that of an artist or child; and freedom from selecting, rejecting, criticizing, evaluating. The person is aware of everything at once. The kind of perception Maslow is describing is like that of a mother with her newborn infant, a child at Christmas, or two people in love. Heightened aware ness at an advanced level may be difficult to attain, but a valuable increase in awareness can be achieved. How can awareness be improved? It is important realize that many perceptual per-ceptual habits that limit awareness serve no useful function. They are habits and nothing more. In short, any change in perceptual habits can make an experience "new" and fresh again. Maybe we need to heed the advice of country singer Mac Davis and "take time to smell the roses." Attention is the second approach to heightened awareness. Attention can be voluntarily directed to sensations that are normally tuned out. Try letting your attention take a walk through your body. What feelings are coming from your mouth, nose, shoulder, foot, scalp, plams stomach, eyes and ears? Poet William Blake summed up the importance im-portance of improved awareness when he said, if the doors of perception were cleansed, man would see everything as it is, infinite. The scanners will read a Universal Product Code (UPC) label on the bottom of each package, identifying the product, its price and other inventory in-ventory information. The National Live Stock and Meat Board's nationwide program of standardized names for meat cuts will simplify meat counter adaptation to the UPC system. Of course, the standard meat identification iden-tification label giving the name of the meat cut, price per pound, weight and total price will continue to be used on the upper surface of all packages. It's expected that UPC eventually will lead to automatic customer billing and telephone shopping services. Heaven means to be one with God. IT'S FALL PARTY TIME!
