Bringhurst, Director. Howard Sanford place first in the crafts division with his original grandfather grand-father clock; Betty Isaacson, 389 Brookside Drive, placed first in the home arts with a rag doll which she made; and Mary Cox won third place in amateur crafts division with a doll which she dressed. Other winners include James E. Sumsion who placed first in the rabbit breeder exhibit. His doe was named best red satin senior doe and won a blue ribbon, third in colored satin fur out of 12 entries, and won a special prize for being best red satin in the show. Other winners included Ernest Steele, whose picture and prizes were listed in last week's Herald, and George Black Howard Sanford who was also featured in last week's paper. FFA Division In the FFA Division, Shane, Clay and Mike Palfreyman and Lisa Hamilton, won blue ribbons for their fat i y lambs. Corine, Rachel and Sheldon Phillips won blue ribbons for their hogs. The Phillips' won ribbons for champion female and champion boar; Corine won in champion fat hog; Rachel won champion reserve hog and first place in fitting and showmanship. In open judging, Corine, Rachel, Sheldon and Laura Phillips won in the champion and reserve champion female Duroc class; Sheldon won champion Duroc Barrow and grand champion Barrow over all breeds. In 4-H judging Sheldon, Rachel, Corine won first in swine judging and Sheldon was named high point individual receiving 195 out of a possible 200 points. He was awarded a gilt from BYU, Other winners will be announced as details become available.
