Show Margo Rollins nuptials set with Robert Nielson July 14, 1977 The Springville Herald Page Seven O For the second time in two months a Springville woman has taken delivery of her child at home. Jill Tuttle, 194 N. 900 E., gave birth to a boy at 12:30 a.m. on July 5. Mrs. Tuttle stated that she went into hard labor and called for her husband. They then called the Springville ambulance am-bulance service who arrived as the child was being born. Mrs. Tuttle said she was extremely impressed with the efficiency and confidence of the ambulance am-bulance crew. The other at-home-birth in Springville occurred two months ago when Terry Roper had her baby delivered by Police Officer Chuck Senn. Mrs. Roper lives around the corner from Mrs. Tuttle. When she heard of the event she sent Mrs. Tuttle a join-the-club card of congratulations. The child is the Tuttle's second child and will be named Steven Tyson. Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Rollins, Orem, are proud to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Margo to Robert Grant Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant J. Nielson, Springville, on Thursday, July 21st in the Manti Temple. There will be a reception honoring the couple that evening at the residence of Mary R. Camenish of Provo at 1180 Columbia Lane from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The bride-elect graduated from Orem High School, LDS Seminary, and received an associates degree from Snow College. She is presently a senior at BYU. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Springville High School, LDS Seminary, and Brigham Young University with a BA degree. He served an LDS mission in Missouri. The couple will make their first home in Provo following their heneymoon. Larsen clan sets reunion Margo Rollins The descendants of Lars and Johanne Jensen Larsen are holding their reunion at the Mapleton Deborah Harvey to wed Ken E. Goates August 2 Kenny Goates and Debra Harvey Mr. and Mrs. Ben Harvey, Ogden, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Deborah Harvey to Ken E. Goates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Goates, Springville. The marriage ceremony will take place in the Salt Lake Temple on August 2, 1977. A wedding luncheon will be given by the parents of the bridegroom at the Ft. Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club, Salt Lake City. The parents of the bride will host a reception that same evening at the White House Reception Center in Ogden. An Open House will be given by the Bridegroom's parents on August 6, 1977 at the Springville Fourth-Tenth Ward Cultural Hall. The bride-to-be graduated from Park Hill High School in Ohio with honors and also graduated from Seminary. She was on the ski team, played tennis and was a flag twirler. She is a junior at BYU and also attended the College of Hawaii and is majoring in elementary education. She plans to continue her education in California; Mr. Goates graduated from Springville High School with honors in 1971 and served an LDS Mission to Indiana. He graduated from BYU with a B.A. Degree in Political Science and Philosophy. While attending BYU he was a member of Sportsman, Alpha Phi Omega, Ballroom Dance Team and worked in the Ombudsman Office. Following their marriage they will move to California and Ken will continue his education at Pepperdine Law School in Anaheim, California. Park, Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. There will be games, geneology and Family history from 2 to 4 p.m.; family picnics and visiting from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a program. Ross Hall, Mapleton; Melvin Jex, Payson; Arnole Johnson and Ray Dedrickson, Spanish Fork have arranged the events of the day. Lars and Johanne Larsen came from Denmark and settled in Spanish Fork in 1869. Gillis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Gillis, La Mirada, California. The couple will marry August 13 in the Manti LDS Temple. The bride-elect graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary, where she was active in forensics, Hi's and a cappella choir. She also served as secretary and president of the drill team. She is a graduate of Snow College where she was active in drill team, serving as president for one year. She is currently employed in Provo as an executive secretary. The prospective bridegroom is a high honor graduate from Nef f High School and LDS Seminary in La Mirada where he was active in track, and enjoyed hiking and skiing. He served in the Japan-Tokyo LDS mission and attended Brigham Young University following his mission. The couple will reside in Provo after their marriage while the bridegroom continues his education. Liza Belmont to marry Kent Warren on July 14 Mr. and Mrs. John S. Belmont, American Fork, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Liza to Kent M. Warren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin F. Warren, Springville. The couple will exchange marriage vows July 14 in a garden ceremony at the home of the bride's grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Culver R. Andersen, American Fork. A reception will honor them at the same location immediately following the ceremony. The bride-elect graduated from American Fork High School and attended Utah State University where she was affiliated with Chi Omega Sorority, was a member of Sigma Nu Court and SAE Little Sisters of Minerva. She is a free lance commercial artist. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Springville High School. He is employed at Sundance as a certified ski instructor and is also working for a local construction company during the summer. Miss Belmont has selected Sally Belmont, her sister, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Shauna Sundberg, Rebecca Allen and Laurie Cook. Serving as flower girls will be Jennifer Metos and Martha Knudson. Standing with the bridegroom will be Donny Bleggi as best man.
