District slates orchestra date The Nebo School District orchestra tinder the direction of Karl Allred will present its first concert of the season Thursday, November 7, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. in the Spanish Fork High School Auditorium. The orchestra is made up of approximately 70 junior and senior high school students from Payson, Spanish Fork, and Springville. There are also a few outstanding players from the middle schools in the orchestra. The combined choruses of the Spanish Fork High School will be guest artists for this concert and will perform two special numbers num-bers with the orchestra. Selections by Grieg, Whitney, Washburn and Delibes will be featured. The public and school personnel are invited to attend this special event. There will be no charge for the dance and all Priests, Laurels, Teachers and MIA Maids are invited. Dress is semi-formal. These plays are open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the door for 50 cents. The plays are being directed by Nanette Curtis, Colleen Wolsey and Brad Edwards. These students and many more have worked long, hard hours on these plays to make them the success they promise to be. It will be an event for the whole family's pleasure. The Schiller Theatre of Berlin will be one of more than 40 world-famous theatre groups to take part in 1976 in the 200th anniversary celebrations of the United States. Other ensembles expected to take part are the British National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Comedie Francaise, and the Vienna Burg Theatre.
