Mallow-Crunch Mallow-Crunch Tarts made with ready-to-eat oven toasted rice cereal is just this. The sweet, crunchy cereal tart shells can be made several hours ahead, then before serving filled generously with frozen or fresh fruit folded into fluffy whipped cream. Kay Kellogg suggests serving Mallqw-Crunch Tarts as a tempting dessert des-sert for a hearty dinner or as a light refreshment during afternoon after-noon or evening gatherings. ; MALLOW-CRUNCH TARTS 2 tablespoons regular (4 teaspoon vanilla margarine or butter flavoring 20 regular marshmallows or 22 cups oven toasted 2 cups miniature marsh- r;ce cereal mallows 2. J2 pint (1 cup) whipping cream, chilled 2 tablespoons sugar . 1 10-oz. pkg. frozen raspberries, well-drained or 1 cup sweetened fresh raspberries or other fruit Measure margarine into 2-quart saucepan; melt over low heat. Add marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is very syrupy. Remove Re-move from heat. Stir in vanilla. Add oven toasted rice cereal; stir until well-coated. Portion warm mixture into 8 6-oz. custard cups or 2 2-inch muffin-pan cups. Using buttered spatula, form into tart shells. Let stand in cool place until firm. Remove from cups. 3. Place whipping cream and sugar in small mixer bowl; whip until soft peaks form. Fold in fruit. Just before serving, fill tart shells with whipped cream and fruit mixture. Garnish with additional fruit, if desired. Yield: 8 servings. Macaroni Shrimp Salad (Makes 6 to 8 servings) 2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar 2 tablespoons lemon juice cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk Vi cup mayonnaise 1 teaspoon salt V4 teaspoon pepper y2 teaspoon crushed tarragon leaves teaspoon ground mustard VI teaspoon paprika 3 cups cooked small shell macaroni 2 cups cooked small shrimp V2 cup chopped green pepper Vi cup sliced green onion 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento 2 chopped hard cooked eggs VI cup minced parsley Stir vinegar and lemon juice into evaporated milk until milk thickens. Add mayonnaise, salt, pepper, tarragon, mustard and paprika. Blend well. Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl. Pour evaporated milk mixture over macaroni-shrimp macaroni-shrimp mixture.
