The service began December 22. Three locations have been designated as parking, car pooling and bus loading areas: The University of Utah's Rice Stadium, the Regency Theater 2749 Parley's Way and Brighton High School 2220 East 76000 South. The University and Regency Theater parking areas will service all resorts Park City, Park City West, Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird and Alta. Brighton High School will serve as a 'loading point for Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude. Service to Solitude and Brighton is also available from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Existing downtown schedules to ski resorts remain unchanged. Lewis Brothers service to Park City resorts began December 22 and continues daily until January 1. Daily Gray Line service to Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton also began December 22, but terminates December 30. The shuttles continue on a weekend and holiday basis after the termination of daily scheduling. Round trip fare, per person, to Park City- Park City West is $4.00. A $2.00 round trip fare, per person, will be charged to Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and . Brighton. Moose observed in new location The success of a moose transplant project carried out last winter by the Division of Wildlife Resources is being watched closely to determine its success. The project, the first of its kind in the United States, involved the translocation of 18 moose from the Bear River and Millcreek drainages on the north slopes of the Uinta Mountains to the mouth of Fish Creek Canyon above Scofield Reservoir in Carbon County. The purpose was to establish the moose in what appeared to be favorable habitat. Since the transplant last January, one mature bull moose was illegally killed during the elk season, and one female calf was found dead of natural causes. In a recent survey of the area to determine whether the moose had adapted to their new home, Division biologists observed a calf which had been given a drug overdose at the time she was to be released last January. The animal became partially paralyzed, but under the care of Dr. Kenneth B. Creer, Provo veterinarian, the young female was revived and was released three weeks later. Biologists sighted her just above Scofield Reservoir, near the area in which she was released. She appeared to be in, excellent condition and adapted to her new home. Biologists report the new moose herd appears to be well established. Each animal was marked with a colored collar, and the general public observing these animals have been cooperative in reporting the sightings to the Division. Trailing 49-39 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Dons began a full court press. The press backfired momentarily when the leading scorer, Mike Forsling, fouled out early in the period. But midway through the quarter Mike North and Gary Christensen fouled out for the Red Devils. With Springville leading, 53-43, the press began to pay off. The Dons scored seven straight points to make the game close. Then John North stole a pass and drew the fifth foul from Steve Boyack to thwart the Spanish Fork threat. Roger Rife came up with five points in the closing minutes to secure the victory for Springville. Both teams showed poise during the game as turnovers were infrequent and the teams worked for good shots. Springville's bench and board strength seemed to be the biggest factors. The brother combination of John and Mike North accounted for 29 points and almost that many rebounds. Rife and Christensen had 14 and 13 for the Devils. Forsling led the Dons with 14 points and Lynn Hawkins added 10. "We played a good game," commented Springville coach Elliott Jordan. "We got a lead and then were able to hold on to it."
