Show Convention set in SIX center Jehovah's Witnesses in the Spanish Fork area will travel to Salt Lake City for their semiannual semi-annual convention slated for the" South High School auditorium on November 27-29. Hoy Hunick, presiding minister for the Spanish Fork congregation announced that the theme of the confab will the "The Word of God is Alive" and will be aimed at the strengthening of family ties through the application of apostolic methods in the Christian ministry and the building of faith in the Messianic Kingdom of God as the means lor producing an equitable world system for mankind. Guest speaker will be J. D. Wengert, district supervisor for Jehovah's Witnesses in the in-termountain in-termountain area. Wengert will address the assembly at 2 p.m. Sunday on the subject "Who Will Conquer the World in the 197()'s." He will also speak on the significance of "Dedication and Baptism" at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. The opening session of the three-day convention will begin at 6:45 Friday evening with the program devoted to the personal ministry of the individual Christian. The agenda for Saturday evening will deal with the development of congregation activities under the supervision of W. F. Shropshire, circuit supervisor for Jehovah's Witnesses Wit-nesses in the central Utah and eastern Nevada area. Shropshire commented that the convention is sponsored by the Watchtower Society with world headquarters in Brooklyn, New York and will be presented as a free public service.
