Delbert Chipman, . representing Utah woolgrowers, and Dean Ev ans, appearing on behalf ol north Utah county landowner, requested request-ed construction of a sheep, trail from the mouth of Provo canyon; to a point northwest of Orenv connecting with an existing trail. As the matter stands, the men said, about 60,000 sheep trailed annually to and from the west desert throught,. Provo canyon must pass heavily traveled highways high-ways from the mouth of the canyon can-yon to U. S. 91, and along the latter to a point in north Qrem. The region is badly in need of a. sheep trail that will take the March Snowfall On Upper Provo Reported Heavy HEBER The' snow survey made by Dean Fuhriman and Don Mitchell of Logan, and H. C. Clegg of Heber April 1 and 2, revealed re-vealed an unusually heavy snow fall in March in the upper Provo river area. This will help counteract the low snow fall noted in January and February, but the precipitation precipita-tion up to date is below normal.
