Holtzman, who served in the regular Army for seven years, became a magician while stationed sta-tioned at Fort Thomas, Ky., and later entertained his buddies in the Panama Canal Zone. Property owners were notified of the cost of repairs re-pairs needed and given an opportunity op-portunity to have the work done by city crews at cost or by private pri-vate contractors in accordance with city specifications. Approximately 50 per cent of the owners acted on receipt of the first letter; remaining owners own-ers are sent a second notice stating stat-ing that if repairs are not made within 30 days the city will do the work and assess the cost against the property. Owners who disregard this are contacted individually in-dividually in a final effort to i conclude the matter on a friend ly basis. 1 50 EMPLOYEES HAVE J 1,135 YEARS SERVICE ! SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
