Show Cray-Gardner Marriage Held LEHI The marriage of Miss Loia Elaine Gray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Gray of lbi, to Grant E. Gardner, son f Mr. and Mrs. Archie D. Gardner Gard-ner of Detroit, Michigan, took place Friday in the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple, with Apostle John A. Widtsoe performing the ceremony. They were accompanied to the temple by Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Gray of Downey, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Gray, Mr. and Mrs. William Glover and Mrs. Abe Anderson. The bride is a graduate of the Iehi high school and both young people are students of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university. They will leave Monday for their new home In Detroit, Michigan. Andreasen, former member of the Vineyard ward bishopric, and a close friend of the Ferre family, united the young couple In marriage. Close family members and friends were pres ent. A St. Valentines motif was ef fectively worked into the decora tions, fed and white streamers and hearts being used. The bride wore a pretty blue afternoon dress and a corsage of roses. Mrs. Barbara Perk at tended her sister as matron of honor, and Clarence Ferre was best man. Refreshments were served to the guests, the dining table being centered with a three-tiered wedding wed-ding cake, with trimming of red and white and topped with tiny bride and groom. They will leave In February to take their WAVE "boot" training at the U. S. naval training school In the Bronx, New York.
