Rambeau Society Editor Phone 432 11 Acacia Celebrates Sixteenth Anniversary At Dinner Party A banquet and party at Chicken Roost Tuesday evening, celebrated the Acacia club's sixteenth birthday anniversary, the husbands being invited as special guests to the delightful event. Bowls of acacia were pretty as table decorations, decora-tions, and a large tiered birthday cake, with trimmings trim-mings of yellow and green, centered the table. Four yellow candles in crystal holders were on either side, and hand-painted cards marked the places. Words of welcome were expressed by Mrs. "mil Tc-obsen. president, and Frank Goold led in . om- mtmitv sinking', with Mrs. Theo- ) ; dore Taylor at the piano. Frank Gardner was introduced as toast- master, and toasts, "To the T adies," by EMiott Tuttle, and "To the Men," by Mrs. M. B. Wallace, vere given. GREEN PEPPERS STUFFED WITH CHEESE (Serves 6) Six green peppers, 1 cup bread rumbs, 1-2 cup chopped cheese, I tablespoon meltedi butter or other fat, 1-2 teaspoon salt, 1-2 :ud chopped pimiento. Cut tops off the peppers and remove re-move the inner fibres and seeds. Drop ir boiling water; remove water from fire and let stand twelve minutes. Drain peppers. Mix crumbs, cheese and pimiento. Phone 561-W Lewis Cutler - Hinze Nuptials Told PAYSON Their many friends will be interested to learn of the marriage of Miss June Hinze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hinze of Payson to Dee Cutler, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Cutler, also of Payson . The event was solemnized last Friday night in the Salt Lake temple and the bride'saunt, Mrs. Milton O. Drollinger accompanied accompan-ied them. The bride wore a lovely bridal gown of white satin and after the ceremony a supper in honor of the couple was given by Mrs. Neuterman. Mr. and Mrs. Cutler left for Elko, Nevada, to visit the bride's parents who are residing there temporarily, and will return to Payson to visit. They will reside in Salt Lake City where both are employed urn til Mr. Cutler is called into the service. The bride- and bridegroom are graduates from Payson high school and the bridegroom, later attended school at Utah State Agricultural Ag-ricultural college. Daughters of Utah Pioneers Daughters of Utah Pioneers camps will hold their monthly meetings at the homes of members mem-bers Thursday at 2:30 o'clock, splendid programs having been planned. Navy Flying Cadet Douglass Doug-lass Erlandson arrived home by plane last Thursday for a week's visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Erlandson. The short leave followed his graduation gradua-tion from pre-flight training in a 10-weeks' course at the training center at St. Mary's college, California, Cal-ifornia, one of four centers in the U. S., designated as Annapolis of the Air. Anderson An-derson Monday evening, was given giv-en by the , Provo chapter of the League of Utah Writers, honoring honor-ing Dr. Carlton Culmsee, who was recently commissioned as a lieutenant in the navy air corps. Dr. Culmsee is president of the state organization, and Mrs. Wyroa Hansen, president of the Provo chapter, was in charge of arrangements for the farewell event. A tribute was given by Mrs. Edith Y. Booth, Mrs. Jessie Dal-ton Dal-ton sang two solos, and Dr. Culmsee gave a' serious and humorous hu-morous account of his new connections con-nections in the navy, and his past associations in the league of writers. Ed Tuttle of American Fork, gave a few highlights of his and the league's associations with the honor guest. Dr. Culmsee was presented with a fine gift from the group.
