Rambeau Society Editor Phone 432 Henrichsen - Wells Reception Is Largely Attended Function A beautifully arranged wedding reception hon: ored Mr. and Mrs. Lewis F. Wells, young couple wed Monday evening in the Salt Lake temple, the affair being given at the Pleasant Grove high school Tues day evening by Mr. and Mrs. Arnold G. Henrichsen of that city, parents of the bride, nee Helen Henrichsen. Henrich-sen. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Wells of Vineyard. Four-hundred and fifty guests attended the reception, re-ception, and were greeted at the door by Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Beck and Mr. and Mrs. Joy O. Clegg. Parents of the. bride and groom headed the receiving line; then D. Lyle Wynn of Ogden, missionary mis-sionary companion of Mr. Wells, ; MAINBOCHER'S LATEST as best man; the groom and bride, Mrs. Harold Bailey, sister of the groom, matron of honor; Mrs. Wesley Walker of Pleasant Grove, attending matron; Helen Robinson Robin-son of Pleasant Grove, and Verna Harding of Vineyard, bridesmaids. brides-maids. A beautiful gown of white satin and net was worn by the bride, and her veil of tulle was fingertip in length and fell from a crown of seed pearls. She carired a bouquet of calla lilies and white roses, tied with silver bells and tulle. Mrs. Bailey was in yellow taffeta, taf-feta, Mrs. Walker and Miss Robinson, Rob-inson, blue silk net, and Miss Harding, blue chiffon. They all wore corsages of pink and white roses and sweetpeas. Mrs. Henrichsen, mother of the bride, wore navy silk, with corsage cor-sage of red and white sweet peas and roses, and Mrs. George Wells was in burgandy silk crepe, with corsage of lavender and white sweet peas and roses. Mayor B. M. Jolley, of Orem, uncle of the bride, was master of ceremonies, and during danc ing, the following program was furnished; Toast, Karl Banks; selection. Vineyard glee; solo, Miss Jean West of Pleasant Grove; two solos, Harold Brere-ton, Brere-ton, accompanied by Mrs. Helen Allen. Huge baskets and containers of pink and white roses and peonies peo-nies predominated in the decorations decora-tions for the hall. The serving table was centered with a four-tiered four-tiered wedding cake, topped with gift display, and- Carmen Barnes, Alene Rasmussen and Jolene and LaWana Clegg accepted the gifts. GILLESPIE Many Guests At Reception SPANISH FORK An out standing nuptial event of the past week was the marirage of Miss Lene Leifson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Victor Leifson, to Dan Ludlow, son of Mrs. Ray LeBarron of Genola. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake temple Wednesday, Wed-nesday, with President Stephen L. Chlpman officiating and the parents of the bride and bride- f room and a number of close elatives present. Later the group enjoyed dinner in the temple dining din-ing room. A wedding reception honoring the young couple was given by the bride's parents Friday night at the First ward amusement hall. In the receiving line were the parents; Clyde Hansen, best man; the bride's sister, Mrs. William E. McKell, matron of honor; bridesmaids, Daisy Deane Daniels, Dan-iels, Romangene Johnson, Elsa Romane McKell, Mary Helen McKell, Mc-Kell, Elizabeth Taylor, and Barbara Bar-bara Nielsen. The bride chose as her wedding dress a model of white satin with lace trim and she wore a floor length veil, and carried a bouquet of calla lilies. The bridesmaids wore gowns of pastel shades and wore corsages of rosebuds. J. Angus Christensen was in charge of a program. Dancing followed. Taking care of the many lovely gifts were Mrs. Frank McKell, Mrs. LuPreal Snow, Mrs. Lorna Koyle. Mrs. Len Hansen and Mrs. Bernice Dane. Mrs. Eugene Hansen was in charge of the luncheon. Five-hundred guests were in attendance. Following a short honeymoon trip, the young couple will make their home at Logan, where Mr. Ludlow will be employed at the U. S. A. C. and where he has a scholarship to continue his studies. Mrs. Ludlow will also continue her studies. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ludlow are graduates of the Spanish Fork high school, clas sof '42 and both were honor students. Mr. Ludlow won honors in agriculture and in speech. He was student body president. Monday Club Entertained Mrs. Eliza Wespthal entertained enter-tained members of the Monday Afternoon Social club at her home Monday. Five-hundred was the diversion, diver-sion, and a tasty luncheon was served . Attractive baskets marked the places. .
