Show PROVO (UTAH) DAILY HERALD, PAGE THREE IIEPKI SUPPORTS STOCK SHOW SPANISH FORK Future Farmers of Nephi are looking forward for-ward eagerly to the Utah State Junior Livestock show to be held at Spanish Fork May 3, 4, 5 and 6, inclusive. Already they are rridefully grooming their pet calves and baby beef to bring -to the exhibit. Nephi F. F. A. boys under their instructor James H. Anderson expected to bring to the show 70 boys of the Nephi F.F.A. chapter; 50 head of fat beef, about ZO sheep and SO hoes. In past shows Nephi has been one of the outstanding supporters cf the State Junior Livestock show. Last year, in 1940, a Nephi youth received the special prize for keeping- the neatest and cleanest clean-est pen of the entire show. In 1940 Nephi F.F.A. chapter was the largest and had the largest larg-est exhibit in point cf numtv-rs -of the entire show. Entries continue to come in according ac-cording to James A. Anderson manager and it looks like the 1041 fhow will outclass the shows held here in other years. Mr. Anderson states that members mem-bers of the Livestock show committee com-mittee will meet writh the Nephi F.F.A. chapter Wednesday night April 20, at 7:30 p. m. to arrange details of the Ncr.tU exhibit at Spanish Fork. In order that stock buyers throughout the state will be informed in-formed on the auction sale3 which will feature the last day of the show, letters are being mailed to nil butchers and dealers who have previously patronized the auction sale and to many new prospective buyers. A meeting held Tuesday night at the council room reported that work of all committees was going forward .satisfactorily. How U. S. I,-! it or Herald: The degree of exploitation of W3"e labor by American monopoly industrv was strikingly revealed bv Phillip Murray in his address before the American Association rf School Administrators on Marrh 25. It is the root cause of all the hell on earth tr'av. Because, so long as tht workers are exploited, they can't buv back what thev have produced. pro-duced. Result: warehouses become be-come filled, markets glutted, pro-chirtion pro-chirtion stons, because people can't bu'. Men lose their jobs, farmers their farms, merchants their busi-rees, busi-rees, banks fail. Everything and everybody, except the monopolists and financiers, sink lower and lower. Plainly it all starts and results from the system of organized, legalized le-galized exploitation. Obviously that svstem is dying; its death struggles shake every land.
