Farewell Dinner Is Tendered A dinner for Mrs. Bud Barber, who left Thursday to make her home in Los Angeles, Calif., was given by Miss Mary Bowman and Miss Edith Done, Wednesday evening even-ing at their home. A Valentine decorative scheme was used on the dining table. A lovely girt was presented to Mrs. Barber, frpm the following: Miss Irene Christensen, Miss Betty. Luncheon After Skating Party After an ice skating party at North Park, a group of friends enjoyed a luncheon at the home of Shirley Perkins. Mildred Sor-ehsen Sor-ehsen rendered classical piano selections, sel-ections, and Miss Perkins gave several dramatic imitations. Worsley Presents Program Mrs. A. B. Worsley presented the program at the Alice Louise Reynolds club, Chapter No. 3, in session Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Joseph Giles. Mrs. Worsley reviewed her master's mas-ter's thesis, "Social Adjustment Problems in the Second Half of Life," which she wrote at the California School of Social Work in 1939. Mrs. John Jackson, president, presided, and Mrs. J. W. Thornton had the program in charge. Two violin solos were played by Miss Maida Stewart, accompanied by Miss Elaine Smith. A collection of $3.25 was taken for the Bundles for Britain.
