Staglng a Teal surprise for the coed residents of Amanda Knight hall, women's dormitory of Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university. Santa Claus made an early visit to Provo Friday. A trumpet call followed by a chorus of girls singing Christmas carols rang through the corridors corri-dors at 6:30 this morning. To clear up the wonder of 'what was going on, Santa Claus invited all the girls to follow him to the living liv-ing room, where they received another an-other surprise a gaily decorated Christmas tree. The decorating had been done secretly at midnight mid-night by members of the House Council. . Three groups of girls entertained entertain-ed Santa and fellow housemates by sinng "Silent Night," in French. Spanish and German. All joined in singing this and other carols in English. After two Christmas readings were given, Leona Holbrook helped help-ed to limber the girls by leading them in setting up exerciss. '. Sanfa was in th limelight again as he presented each girl with a Rift, then led them to the dining room for a specially prepared Christmas breakfast. Girls who arranged to have Santa San-ta Claus visit Knight hall before he was due and who prepared the entertainment for him were Margaret Mar-garet Sorenson, Arlene Durr, Elizabeth Hill, Lois Jensen, and Lucy Cannon. ?
