The dainty luncheon was served buffet style, the table being covered cov-ered with a beautiful linen cut-work cut-work cloth', and arranged in pretty fashion with pink and white sweet peas and candles. Tables games were played, Mrs. J. W. Thornton winning- the high score prize, and Mrs. J. C. Knell, the consolation favor. Mrs. Carlton Culmsce discussed briefly the "Naturalistic Trend in American Literature," and related it to the play "Beyond the Horizon," Hori-zon," by Eugene O'Neill, which was reviewed in splendid manner by Mrs. Merrill Christophcrson. During the afternoon, two piano selections were played by Mrs. Marvin Geace, and Misa Louise Bullock sang three numbers, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Gea.se. Luncheon was served.
