There- are sixty-one grandchildren and ,82 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Newell was born in Lehi, a daughter of Alexander . and Mallnda Thomas Lovertdge. Her mother died when she was but six years of age, - and she came . to Provo bench, when waa waa 15, to live with her sister, the late Mrs. Henry Davis. In 1879, she married Elliott A. NeweU, In Provo, "and they homsteaded the farm on which Mrs. Newell now lives. They were among the first settlers on the bench. Mr. Newell died Oct. 1, 192S. v : - :'.
