Aird was presented by the Fine Arts club members, at their open session held Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Bertrand F. Harrison as acting hostess, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Christian Jensen, on University hill. ' An exceptionally well prepared paper dealing with "Current "Cur-rent International Relations Problems' was given by Mrs. Aird, who was introduced by the president, Mrs. Orson Slack. Assisting hostesses were Mesdames Mack Swenson, Seth Shaw, LeRoy J. Robertson, Frank-Mullett, K S. Maycock, Harry Dixon, E. 5. GroesoecK ana Aura C. Hatcn. A Christmas scheme was em-ployed em-ployed in the artistic decorative features, which included an arrangement ar-rangement of poinsettas and azaleas. aza-leas. Also, the season's colors were used in the tasty refreshments refresh-ments served, and tiny Christmas trees were given as favors. A trumpet duet, "The Holy City," was played by Jay Robinson Robin-son and Marjorie Rogers, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs.- Gerald Heaton, and Mrs. Doyle Dastrup followed with the solo, "Come Unto Me," also accompanied "by Mrs. Heaton. The Junior American Legion auxiliary chorus, under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. Zenith Johnson, sang "God Bless America" and Brahm's "Lullaby." 1 . . ; . Party Enjoyed Y In celebration of having attained the largest membership in Provo, the P.-T. A. officers gave a well planned and enjoyable social affair at the sehool auditorium Wednesday Wednes-day evening.
