Right Seasoning Adds Good Ftavor A touch of the right seasoning makes all the difference in the world in how your vegetables taste. Mustard butter, says the Woman's Home Companion, gives hot greens and cabbage just the right zip. You do it by creaming cup butter or margarine, 2 teaspoons prepared mustard, 1 teaspoon sugar and V? teaspoon of salt and stir in 2 teaspoons lemon luice. Pour over the hot vegetables. For a tang of spring, pile golden cooked carrots on one side of dish, bright green beans on the other. Pour on cup salad oil and 2 tablespoons vinegar heated and seasoned with salt, pepper, little sugar. If your family likes sweet-sour sweet-sour beets try adding a touch of chopped chives just before serving serv-ing and once you've tried it, Pm sure you'll agree a hint of basil makes any beets more tempting.
