"If people from Utah, "come across the line and qualify for Idaho plates. I don t see how we can stop them. On the other hand, if a check by Utah authorities shows that residents of that state lack proper plates, they can bring the practice to a halt pretty quick." He said he had not received any formal protest from Utah over the practice, "although this is old stuff." Lewis said that Preston and Malad seem to be the places" at which most Utahns obtain Idaho plates. The board has been meeting at least 10 times a vear. Snm mem bers proposed that these be cut ta only four or - five sessions of streamlined nature. A decision on the proposal will be made at the next meeting in May with April already being skipped. Paroles and terminations a sentences granted by the board were mostly to men convicted of comparatively minor crimes. Two murderers.
