Show Miss Walters To Wed Soon OREM Mrs. and Mrs. Joseph F. Walters wish to announce the encasement of their daughter Bertha to Gordon Eastman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eastmon of Prove Miss Walters Is a senior stu dent at the Lincoln high school. Mr. Eastman is a graduate of Springville hlgb and served tor 32 months as a combat engineer In the U. S. army, part of that ' time he spent in the European theater of war. The young couple plan to be married in the near future. Golf Clubhouse Scene of Affair Rotarians held their annual Christmas party Friday evening at the Golf clubhouse. The affair was in honor of their guests and was "ladies night". Dinner was served at 7:30 and an entertaining program present ed. Decorations throughout the room followed the Christmas motif. Jaycee Wives Children Party Jaycee Wives entertained their children at the annual Christ mas party in the Pioneer Memor ial building at North Park Thurs day afternoon. The group was entertained by a delightful program consisting of a specialty dance by Diane Ad amson. Mrs. Lucille Thome tell ing a beautiful Christmas story, Arlene Adamson and Loni Hacking Hack-ing tap dancing, Karon Dixon do ing a hula dance and community singing led by Mrs. Bernece Dayen, and accompanied by Mrs. Jean Dixon. While Judy Dayne was singing "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town", the old fellow himself appeared amidst the Joyous shouts from the children, and shook , hands with each and every child and present ed them with a lovely - present and a candy cane. Over 100 chil dren enjoyed the affair. The color group in charge was Mrs. -Mildren Egan, captain, Bernece Ber-nece Dayne, director, Grace Martin, Mar-tin, Lois Gardner, Elaln Ahlander, Eldora Couch, Mary Rogers, Gladys Gla-dys Turner and Ila Andrus. Sunday School Group At Social OREM The Geneva ward Sunday School officers and teachers teach-ers held a business meeting and social at the home of Mrs. Vera Thurber Thursday evening-Mrs. evening-Mrs. Ezra T. Patten led the group in several games after which refreshments were served by officers and teachers of the Junior Sunday School. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Graff. Washburn, Thursday after noon. , Upon arrival, the guests were served a delicious lunch, at a long table decorated with a yule4 tide centerpiece and lighted! tapers on either end. Christmas decorations were used through4 out the entertaining rooms. Unn der the beautiful, lighted Christ mas tree, presents were placedi and later distributed to everyone present. A musical program was slven with a sextette composed of Mrsi J. D. Pyne, Mrs. Ray Park, MrsJ Curtis Gordon, Mrs. James Gj Stratton, Mrs. E. H. Calder and!
