Calif. rhere, on Tuesday, she is to be married to George Farino, formerly form-erly of Ogden, who was released six months ago from the navy. ' The wedding is to be held in the Little Church of the Flowers, in Glendale, with only close relatives rela-tives and friends of the groom in attendance. For her wedding, the bride has Chosen a smart aqua wool suit, with which she will wear a chic ostrich-feathered hat, and a white top coat. The couple plans to leave im- mediately on a honeymoon through the state of California, and will make their home in In- elewood. - The bride-elect is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward B. Snow of St George. She is a graduate of the BYU and taught music at the Maeser school for eight years For the past two and half years, she has been deputy sheriff of Utah county, the first woman to hold this position. She is a member of the NLko club. Mr. Farino is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Farino, of Ogden. A number of dinner parties have been given ' for the bride-elect. bride-elect. FERN'S FROCK SHOP 168 WEST CENTER "Rosette'7 Boll Planned For Young Folks A highlight social event which promises to delight the young folks of Provo and Utah stakes, is the first "Rosette" ball, planned plan-ned as an annual event, to be held Tuesday evening, Dec. 11, in the Joseph Smith building ballroom, commencing at 8:30 o'clock. The semi-formal dance is for senior scouts and junior girls and is sponsored by the activity committees com-mittees of the two stakes. Dates will be arranged for the girls, it is announced. A queen, to be presented in a special ceremony, will be chosen from the ward having the highest percentage of eligible girls en rolled in junior work. Attendants for the senior scout group will be selected on the same basis. Floor show numbers are being prepared by LuAna Porter and Ada Moulton, dance directors of Utah and Provo stakes, respectively. respec-tively. Members of stake presidencies, bishoprics and ward and stake MIA officers .are invited as guests.
