Orem's record was 23,000; Springville women made 28,-' 200 dressings and Provo, 64,-254', 64,-254', making a total of 115,-454 115,-454 dressings, announces Mrs. L. F. Moore, Utah county surgical dressings chairman. Throwing a dampening On this fine showing is the fact that in July, the quota fell short approximately 38,000 dressings, and, with the 14,-054 14,-054 surplus during August, it still leaves 23,946 dressings dress-ings to be made up along with the September quota, which is 96,000. Summing it all up, it means that the women of Provo, Orem and Springville must dig in harder than ever to clean off the slate and finish up the 110,946 dressings dress-ings by the end of September Septem-ber in order to start out on good and easy footing the first of October. The women in charge congratulate con-gratulate the good and faithful workers who have remained on the job despite the intense heat and the busy canning season, and they give thanks to those who have rallied to the recent re-cent requests for additional helpers. They are hoping to keep these fine crews together and to add more and more women and girls to the rolls as the winter season rolls around. ifaiflimriiisisWn'rtiW sj f A lovely garden party held recently by the Sub-Deb club of the Wells, Marjorie Stubbs, Shirley Herrick, Lillian Norum, Ella Claire Lincoln high school, at the canyon drive home of Miss Nadine Eastmond, LouJean Park.
