'White Cargo' Opens Monday On Scera Bill Out of the mystery and dark beauty of the African jungle comes one of the strangest and most exciting stories ever brought to the screen to thrill eager movie fans. More than forty top ranking stars in one picture is somethine of a record, even for fabulous Hollywood, but that is the score run up with the show of all shows, "Star Spangled Ryhthm," today. Definitely a field day for mdvie fans, "Star Spangled Rhythm" boasts among its plavers: Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Fred Mac-Murray, Mac-Murray, Franchot Tone, Ray Mil-land, Mil-land, Victor Moore. Dorothy L?-mour, L?-mour, Paulette Goddard, Vera Zo-rina. Zo-rina. Marv Martin. Dick Powell, Betty Hutton,' Eddie Bracken, Veronica Lake, Alan Ladd, and Rochester. Comedy Keynotes Two Uinta Films Already as one of the musical must-sees of the past season, Hollywood's latest funfest. "Iceland," "Ice-land," makes it curtain call at the Uinta theatre today on a smash double bill. Boasting the same starring team that helped make "Sun Valley" Val-ley" Serenade" a box office sensation, sen-sation, the film has added to this duo of Sonja Henie and John Payne the laugh-provoking antics of Jack Oakie and the celebrated music of Sammy Kaye and his orchestra. Songstress Joan Merill's rendition ren-dition of "There'll Never Be Another An-other You" is hailed as the heart-breaker heart-breaker of the season, and critics defy fans to hear it . without wiping a tear from their eyes. The second part of this entertaining enter-taining bill is today's recipe for laughter. 'The Affairs of Martha," staring Marsha Hunt and Richard Carlson, with Marjorie Main in chief support. This rib-tickling comedy has a novel story, "which features exceptional ex-ceptional direction by -Jules Das-sin, Das-sin, the. noted French director who gave audiences - the hit, "Reunion "Re-union in France," with Joan Crawford.
