Incidentally her 'possum cape is quite smart. : Nautilus Party Clever Event The first girls' social unit party to be held in the beautiful new Joseph Smith Memorial building, proved a delightful, event of Saturday Sat-urday evening, with the Nautilus group as hostesses. "Campus Qutups" was the theme of the gay event, held in the Commons at the building. Carrying out a get-acquainted and friendship idea, the girls welcomed welcom-ed those attending with a huge sign bearing the inscription, "Nautilus Welcomes You to the College Inn." In keeping with the clever scheme, the room was arranged in the form of a college inn, with booths and tables and many pennants pen-nants representing the various social units on the campus. A blue and white color scheme prevailed, pre-vailed, using a huge"Y"' as the background. Refreshmenta'were served to more than 50 couples, including the active and alumnae members, and guests, and their partners. The committee included: Joy Phillips, Mildred Cox, Helen Tut-tle Tut-tle and Alice Erapey. University Dames To Start Season The opening social of the winter season, of the University Dames, will be held Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock in the banquet rooraof j tne Joseph smith building.---- i Those eligible for membership are wives of resident students at the university, married women who are registered students, anyone who has previously belonged to a chapter of the national association, associa-tion, and mothers of students in the university, without permanent home connections during the year. The purpose of the organization is to stimulate and , promote an enducational and social affiliation for members. At Wednesday's meeting Mrs. Fred W. Dixon will read the one-act one-act play, "White Dresses,'' by Paul Green. Mrs.. Stanford Bingham will sing two numbers, and Mrs. Norma Gunnell of Orem, will play piano numbers.
