Bird, treasurer. Mrs. Bird is asuming the leadership leader-ship of the organization during the illness of Mrs. George W. Worthen, president. Cash contributions con-tributions have recently been made by the Alice Louis Reynolds club, chapter 3, Mrs. John Jackson, Jack-son, president, and toy the Fine Arts club, Mrs. Lynn Hayward, president, she states. Already the Bundles for Britain organization has sent hundreds of pounds of clothing, including socks, blankets, sweaters, etc. over. seas. The clothing goes to needy British people and to soldiers, according to Mrs. Bird. HI fie MayTvAinus fobacco Road Di r t Maeser School to Stage Operetta Sfxth grade students of Maeser school March 21 will present the operetta. "Punch and Judy" to pupils and patrons of the school. The boys and girls have been working hard -on the operetta, which features lilting melodies and a clever plot and has 19 songs. Mrs. Olive Reeve is directing the music. The staging Is under direction of Miss Irma Acord. Seventy-five students are participating. par-ticipating. The dancing is in charge of Mrs. Phyllis Brown. EXCHANGE CLUB The Provo Exchange club will hold its regular luncheon meeting meet-ing Mdnday at 8 p. m. at Hotel Roberts. Special decorations will be used and the Top Hatters orchestra will furnish music for dancing. Miss . Edyth Trotter will be crowned queen at 10 p. m. with Miss Helen Salisbury and Miss Waldeen Ivers as her attendants. A special fl(vr show will be part of the coronation ceremonies. Mrs. Wilford Gillespie entertained enter-tained at a gay childrens party Friday afternoon, honoring the sixth birthday of her daughter, Joyce. Pink and white balloons were used in decorating the rooms, and were given as favors, and the luncheon color scheme was carried out , in the same colors, a beautifully decorated cake centering cen-tering the table.
