Faculty Women Give Annual Yule Party Araong the highly entertaining and delightfully arranged social affairs of the week was the Brig- j ham Young- university Faculty j Women's annual Christmas dane- i ing party held Saturday night, in the Women's gymnasium, with partners as special guests. A highlight of the entertainment entertain-ment were the dance numbers given during intermission, under the direction of Miss Margaret Burton. The hall was appropriately decorated dec-orated for the occasion with lovely love-ly Christmas motifs in red and green, employed. Tasty refreshments refresh-ments also conformed to the holiday color scheme. In charge of the delightful affair af-fair were the following committee commit-tee members: Mrs. Grant Tvins. general arrangements; Mrs. Wayne B. Hales and Mrs. Ii. V. Hoyt. refreshments; Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Burton and Mrs. Alonzo Morley, entertainment; Mrs. J. K. Nicols, Lorna Call and Mrs. Morley, Mor-ley, decorations; Mrs. Ralph A. Britsch and Mrs. Wayne Soffe, music. Reader's Guild Hear Play Members of the Reader's Guild met Friday afternoon at the home Of Mrs. M. T. Davis, where Mrs. Elvin Anderson reviewed the play, "Life With Father," by Russell Crouse and Howard Lindsey. During the social, final arrangements ar-rangements for the Christmas party to be held in the form of a tea at the home of Mrs. Alma Van Wagenen on Sunday, were made. Committeemen include: Mrs. Seth Smoot, general chairman; chair-man; Mrs. Frank Van Wagenen, invitations; Mrs. Grant Greer, decorations; Mrs. Willis Cand-land, Cand-land, refreshments. The entertaining rooms were beautifully decorated with holly J and other Christmas motifs. Dainty refreshments were served to the following members : Mrs. Dean A. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was born in Christiania. now Oslo, Norway. December 16, 1857. With her mother, she came to Utah in 1875. She was married to Peter Adam-son Adam-son in the Salt Lake endowment house. March 14, 1877. They went to Fairview in 1878, and lived there until 1916, when Mr. Anderson passed away. Two years later, Mrs. Anderson came to Provo and has lived here since. She has been an active L. D. S. church member since her conversion conver-sion in Norway. Visitor Feted At Dinner Complimentary to Mrs. Jennie B. Lane, who is visiting here from Los Angeles, Calif..
