Y. academy and was one of the 29 students who registered on the opening day. She was married to Myron C. Newell. Dec 13, 1878. In the Salt Lake Endowment house. He died three years ago. While a resi dent of Vineyard. Mrs. Newell served as president of the Relief society for five years, and she has always taken an active part In the work of this organization until the last few years. Since she has been unable to get about, she has devoted her time to fancy work, crocheting, knitting and reading, and never a day passes but that aome of her friends pay her a call.
