Smith of Snowflake, Arizona, former for-mer Provo woman, died at the Mesa, Ariz., hospital, Fridav. from complications resulting ; af ter an operation. ; .She was born, in' Prpvo, November No-vember 20, -1893, the daughter of Sarah Stark Van Wagoner and the late John Alfred Van Wagoner of Provo. She attended the local schools and later, graduated grad-uated from : the . Brigham Young university. She filled a mission in the, Hawaiian Islands in -1913- 15.
